What is the Prop 65 warning about?

+-

Prop 65 is a California Law that requires businesses to provide warnings to consumers when a product contains certain chemicals that are above a certain threshold. The warning is provided to ensure compliance with law and to inform consumers of the potential risk – even if the risk is very low.

Why do some of your Products contain a Prop 65 warning? Which ingredient contains a prop 65 chemical?

+-

The warning on our products is generally the result of a requirement under Prop 65 that if a product contains more than 0.5 micrograms of lead per daily recommended dose then it must have the required warning.  Lead is naturally found in the environment, soil and water, and anything growing in it will have trace amounts of lead. Our products contain many natural herbs and botanicals, and it is therefore possible that, from time to time this substance may be present in such ingredients, making it naturally occurring because of the environment it was grown in. This is common among various plants and vegetables grown outdoors.

Does a Prop 65 warning mean the product is unsafe?

+-

Not necessarily. A Prop 65 warning does not mean that a product does not meet safety standards. A Prop 65 warning is designed to inform, not to ban or restrict.

However, if you have specific health concerns, you may wish to consult with a heath care professional.  If you are pregnant or nursing, you should not take our products whether or not a prop 65 warning is required.

Other than lead, are there any other chemicals related to Prop 65 that can be found in your products?

+-

Lead is the most common Prop 65 chemical that can be found in our products. However, we also test our products for heavy metals such as arsenic, mercury or cadmium. Generally, they are not above the safe harbor levels implemented by Prop 65. However, if there is any product in particular that you have questions, please contact Customer Service.

I've been taking this product for years, would it be accumulated in my body?

+-

The trace amounts of lead that may trigger a Proposition 65 warning are well below levels considered harmful by federal safety standards and are often lower than what’s found naturally in common foods. While lead can accumulate in the body over time, small amounts are typically managed by the body’s natural detoxification systems—primarily the liver, kidneys, and gastrointestinal tract—which help eliminate it gradually. Although lead can accumulate in the body over time, for most healthy adults, the amounts present in our products are unlikely to cause meaningful bioaccumulation or health risks with typical use. If you’re concerned, we recommend consulting with a qualified health professional for further insights who can take a deeper look at your own personal health situation as it relates to your total exposure to lead from all sources.

+-

The collagen used in our products is animal sourced; derived from bovine (cow).

I'm having hard time cutting open the tube of Liquid Collagen with my hand, is this a defect?

+-

The reason the vile is hard to twist off with your hand is to prevent compromising the product with air. It is for product integrity, not a defect. We recommend using scissors to cut the tube instead of trying to twist off with your hand.

What is the best way to get all of the liquid out of tube if I am having trouble?

+-

We recommend adding a little bit of water into the tube and shaking well to remove all of the liquid from the tube.

Is it okay to take more than the recommended dosage?

+-

No. We do not recommend taking more than the recommended dosage., The suggested dose is backed by research  for safety and efficacy.

What if I took 2 pills of Steel Libido RED in the morning and need help for activity at night. Can I take an additional 4 pills before activity?

+-

No, do not exceed 4 pills a day.

Is it okay to take less than the recommended dosage?

+-

Yes, you can lower the dosage at your discretion. However, you may not have the advantage of the product’s intended purpose if you are not taking the full recommended dose or as directed. The dosages we recommend are generally backed by the known science supporting the formula, however it is possible for different botanicals to affect people differently, so it could make sense for certain individuals to start out with smaller doses and see how they feel when using a new product.

Is it okay to take the product past expiration date?

+-

Our products have a two-year shelf life. The expiration date is set as a guarantee that the product will contain the same levels of active ingredients as it did when manufactured until the specified date.  After the expiration date we cannot guarantee that a given product will contain the potency of ingredients listed on the supplement facts panel.

Where is expiration date located?

+-

The expiration date is located at the bottom of the bottle or the carton if the product is packaged in a box.

There's only the month and year as the expiration date, how long is it good until?

+-

The expiration date applies until the end of month.
